Self-study 3


This is the devlog of Self-study 3 for my portfolio. 

This devlog focuses on creating terrain and using probuilder. 

I rushed through this exercise as my unity was being painfully slow at some points but managed to get it done. 

First thing I did was installing the terrain tool package, and downloaded the assets.  I then created a terrain, and used a texture labeled 'dry grass'. I did edit the terrain by raising the terrain and made it look like a path. I even added the model that I created in my previous self-study, using the barrel as an obstacle.

I then moved on to using probuilder. At first was confused trying to find the option to open probuilder window but upon researching, it's seems it no longer a thing and only can see the options on right-click menus. I just did a simple house which I made as an objective to get to. 


I simply did this by using a cube and cutting a shape of the door on the cube and moved it forward so it's more look like a door, then I add a prism and adjusted to look like a roof. 

I also added a bridge which the player would need to go over to get to the objective. did this by adding a arch shape and adjusted it to my liking.
